This is our opinion based on our actual hands on experiences.
The Jinma tractors and wood chippers that we sell are manufactured in China and are imported and purchased NEW directly from the factory in China by Ranch Hand Supply.
We are a general repair shop that services and repairs most all makes of tractors and implements.
After inspecting our first shipping container from China, we felt that the quality control coming out of the factory was not up to our standards.
Wood Chipper; Some of what we have found and still find (not the same thing on every chipper) is, missing or loose set screws, blades out of adjustment (on all), pulleys out of alignment, belt adjustment off, needs better oil in feed drum gear box (on all), grease fittings up-graded (on all), bearings lacking the proper amount of grease (on all), anvil bed inspected for flatness & fit (on all), Feed drum drive shaft with improper lubrication (on all). Flywheel not centered in housing.
We take care of all these things plus anything else we may find prior to selling our chippers. Our mind set is that we expect you start using the chipper when you receive it and not having to fix, repair, chase down missing parts or prep it.
We do not feel that these chippers are junk due to the lack of quality control but, do believe that if they don't have a proper prep and service prior to putting to work that they will be having problems.
We think the belts are the weakest link on the chipper after our prep and service. I will just say Chinese rubber. We offer an up-graded set of Industrial Belts installed or carry out at the time of sale. Most consumers have us install a set of industrial up-graded belts, some purchase the belts not installed and run the China belts till they break.
Our prep effects the selling price of our chipper.
The chippers come with a manual. Is it a good manual? We think it is a Ok manual. That is why we give you a user name and pass word to our Members Only section on our web site to guide you through maintaining your chipper today and tomorrow.

We are now having our chippers manufactured with a stronger feed drum drive shaft that can be greased.
